How to Advertise Your Listing Using Video Advertising

If you're interested in using video to enhance your listings, we offer several options. The most accessible option is to leverage our Video Ad product for listings—available as a stand alone campaign or as a bundle with a more standard display advertising campaign for listings. For those looking to provide maximum exposure for their property, we recommend creating a standard Listing Ad campaign for your property and a supporting video campaign.

To Create a Standard Ad AND a Virtual Listing Video:

After setting up your standard ad campaign, you’ll have the option to create a Virtual Listing Video that complements your display campaign. This video is generated using the details from your existing ad and presented in a slideshow format, further increasing your property’s exposure.

When creating a standard Listing Ad, you will be given the option to create a corresponding video after checkout or, if you’d prefer to wait, you can always create your campaign later by selecting the option to add a video from your My Campaigns page or Campaign Results page.

Note: With video campaigns you will have the option to target geographically, similar to our standard Listing Ad campaigns, or by custom audience. We recommend using a custom audience only if you have a specific list of people who you want to see your listing, like an open house attendee list, as you will have to upload an email address or street address for each person you want to target. 

If you don’t have existing video content, be sure to use the option for ‘Create with Our Video Templates’ where you will be able to upload static images of the property and create a virtual walkthrough from one of our templates.

Going the Extra Mile

For those wanting to elevate their advertising efforts, we also offer the option to run custom videos on popular Streaming Television platforms such as Hulu, ESPN+, HGTV, and more.
